Midwest Sound and Production is a professional live sound, lighting, and live recording company that is focused on the smaller to midsize events. Events with audiences up to 3000 are our specialty. We are a customer service based company with a total focus on helping you achieve your vision.

Our professional operators have been in this business of pro sound and lighting for over 40 years individually. Together they have over 60 years experience in this field. They have touring, festival, indoor, outdoor and fixed facility experience to draw on.

We have recently updated our inventory and are now featuring the Electro-Voice Phoenix sound system complete with EV processing and CP-series touring amplifiers. This is EV's new premium ground stack and flyable sound system. This is an amazing sounding rig. We also updated our lighting inventory to include front and rear trussing complete with intelligent lighting and a full assortment of conventional fixtures. For the performer who wants the best in live recording, we have added a complete Digidesign ProTools HDaccel system and an Apple Logic based system for the highest quality live multi-track recording.

We have become Fort Wayne’s and the surrounding areas first call for high quality production at an reasonable price. However, just because we are affordable doesn’t mean we skimp on what matters. We use professional equipment and provide courteous and experienced operators that are ready and willing to make your event come alive.

We have experience in many styles of music, such as, Rock, Pop, Alternative, Rap/Hip-Hop, Techno/Electronica, Latino, Folk, Country, Gospel and spoken word.

If your needs are not oriented towards traditional concert sound we also provide services for conferences, meetings, special events, festivals, worship services, regional tours through our area, school functions, high powered DJ Rig for those bigger gigs, etc.

Our skilled Team:
PAUL LEA – I am the proud owner of Midwest Sound and Production. I have been in the live sound/lighting arena for 20 years. I have been employed as a front of house/monitor engineer for many performers including; Air Supply, LeAnn Rhimes, The Dixie Chicks, Three Dog Night, Buckwheat Zydeco and a multitude of other regional and national acts. I am also a senior sales engineer at Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne where I specialize in recording studio and live sound system design. I have been there for 10 years.

MARK YOUNG - I am the operations manager and main front of house operator for Midwest Sound and Production. I have 30 years experience in the music field, from playing drums in a band to mixing music professionally in Las Vegas hotels, for such performers as Larry G Jones, man of 1002 Voices, Steve Connolly, a tribute to the King, Mary Williams Review, The Stinson Brothers and The Manny Kellough Trio to name a few. I have been mixing sound for churches for 12 years in the Las Vegas area also, before relocating to the Fort Wayne area.

AARON FOSTER –I am the main monitor engineer and system tech for Midwest Sound and Production. I am also the technical director at Life Bridge church where I am responsible for the maintenance and operation of our building's sound, video, and lighting system. Coming from the chruch world I understand how important each service and event is. I have beem employed as a front of house/monitor enginner for many performers including; Jason Derulo, Coolio, Grits, KJ52, Letoya, Livvi Franc, DJ Maj, Everyday Sunday, Mandisa, Church of God in Christ (broadcast enginner) and many more.

TYLER TORRES – I am Paul Lea’s son and the lighting designer for most events. I take pride in making every event a hit visually. I also founded and play lead guitar in a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band. I'm still learning the ropes of production and want to make it as my career.
